My tour was outstanding with a phenomenal tour guide, Christa! There were three highlights of my trip, the last bath, the naming ceremony and the experience of an excellent curated tour through marketplaces, restaurants, the peaceful Coconut Grove Resort horseback riding on the beach and more. Oh and let me not forget the incredible hot stone Massage at La Badi hotel Spa. The castles were too intense to even speak on with their excellent docents bringing history alive today. I could simply say that we had a great time, the food was delicious and the accommodations were comfortable, but that would not do it justice. This was an unbelievably thought provoking, educationally informative and spiritually uplifting once in a lifetime trip. It fed and enriched my soul in more way than I can appreciate at this point. Still unpacking all that I experience and felt while in my homeland. Yes, my homeland - a place where I felt totally at peace and a sense of belonging. Ghana is a must visit with Black Women Abroad! Looking forward to traveling with them in the future.

The trip was wonderful. Bring your patience and look to pack in a lot during the experience. There is so much to see and do.
