Day 1 - Cape Coast

Historic Slave Forts and Dungeons of the Central Region

Breakfast and early departure for Cape Coast/Elmina. An optional stop on the way to visit Assin Manso, the final bathing place for slaves before being transported to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Elmina and Cape Coast dungeons. Enjoy our packed lunch and continue on a guided tour of Elmina, the largest and oldest slave dungeon in the world. Check into the beachside resort. Dine at the hotel (Room and dinner not included in price)

Day 2 Cape Coast

Optional Slave Dungeon visit and return to Accra

Breakfast and then optional visit to the Cape Coast Slave Dungeon with time for a visit to the Cape Coast colonial town, market and museum.
