About your trip

Discover the jewels of Africa; Rwanda, tucked between a thousand hills and Zanzibar, sparkling in the sea.

With a welcoming people, epic landscapes, and abundant wildlife,  Rwanda truly is a hidden treasure.  Experiencing how Rwanda works makes many visitors want to put down roots.  Rwandans have worked tirelessly to recover after the traumatic events of the 1994 Genocide Against The Tutsi, and a deep dive here reveals a small, pristine, safe and progressive country. Rwandans' continuous commitment to progress, to community building and to conservation of both their rich history and their diverse natural habitats is evident.  Kigali has shiny high rises, a state-of-the-art convention center, a 18 hole golf course, is an incubator for tech forward companies like Zipline and has the highest percentage of women in government.

After experiencing the Rwandan heights, we will dive into Zanzibar, and maybe off of a catamaran or dhow into the clear blue waters, rife with dolphins, fish and coral. The landscape is just the veneer upon the deep history, spices, food and culture that this East African island has to offer our community minded impact driven travelers.
